6-1, 6-3, 6-0! VAMOS!!!!!!!!!!!
Rafa Nadal does it AGAIN! Not only does he win the French Open 4 times in a row, Rafa doesn’t drop a single set this tournament. Four times he’s stepped onto Court Philippe Chatrier, and four times he’s won it (the last 3 of those times against Federer). To top it all off, he completely dominates the match! Seemingly every time Federer served and volleyed, Nadal somehow gets to the ball and spins a sweet passing shot. I stopped counting after 10.
Rafa mentions in his interview with McEnroe right after the game, “I make less mistakes usually.” Is he kidding? He is too good. Federer mentioned in his interview that he could not let his head hang during the match, but he did exactly that after hitting so many shots into the net. So un-Federer-like on both accounts. I don’t remember ever seeing this much frustration on a face that is always so confident.
True to both their natures, Roger and Rafa were both very eloquent and gracious after the game. Rafa didn’t do his trademark fall-backwards-to-the-ground move when he won, but maybe that’s because he completely dominated with a score of 6-1, 6-3, 6-0! Bjorn Borg was on stage to hand the cup over to Nadal because Nadal has now tied Bjorg’s consecutive wins at the French Open. At Wimbledon, Bjorg was there last year to hand over the cup to Federer for matching his 5 consecutive wins there. Let’s see how far these 2 golden boys can take it!
Here’s me and Jojo, proudly representing our boy and his topspin with the flag (thank you Alex & Tolo) from Mallorca, Spain. We waved it like crazy as if we were there. And now we head to the courts ourselves to play some tennis, I hope we get a court!

NADAL OWNS THAT CLAY COURT!!!
I like Federer but I LOVE Nadal…and Federer got that ASS SPANKED! Vamos Rafa!
Love the flag!
Let’s see how much you love him at Wimbleton, CLOWN!
