Matamanoa Island was the best thing about Fiji on our trip. It was secluded, about an hour and a half away from the mainland. It was quiet, tiny, beautiful, and peaceful. The people there were very laid back and fun. We just played around and enjoyed the ocean, sun, and jungle, truly a paradise.

Orchid gardens and natural rainforest underneath the mountainside of Viti Levu Island in Fiji. The garden was made accessible by actor Raymond Burr. It is known as the Garden of the Sleeping Giant due to the mountain's likeness to a fat belly of a sleeping giant.

We took a day trip to Nadi in the rain, and it was great! Jojo picked up some Indian threads for an upcoming Indian wedding we're attending. We also sampled some great Fijian food.

The tourist trap of Fiji. This resort, recommended by our travel agent, was very commercialized and family-oriented. Nevertheless, we had a good time. We saw Fijian fire-walkers walk across hot stones, tried kava, a traditional Fijian drink, and relaxed while it rained and poured outside.
